Platte County Auditor Siobhann Kathleen Williams, CPA was elected to her first term of elective office in November 2006.  A career accounting professional she brings more than 20 years of experience including corporate accounting, public accounting, and governmental accounting to her role as auditor. 

In addition to her strong accounting background she has been an active leader in the Platte County volunteer community, serving on the boards of the Parkville Community Development Corporation, Parkville Main Street Association, and the Parkville Chamber of Commerce.

Williams’ goals for the auditor’s office include updating systems, reviewing the county’s accounting practices to keep the county up to date with Government Accounting Standards, streamlining processes, ensuring transparency in county financial affairs, making financial information more accessible, and holding county offices accountable for their stewardship of taxpayer funds.
