Born July 22, 1970. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in government from Northwest Missouri State University in1993, and a Master’s degree in public administration from Drake University, 1994. He currently resides in Platte City with his wife, Rachelle, and their three children, Alayna, Caleb and Thomas. He is an elder at First Christian Church of Platte City and has previously worked as the Public Works Director of Platte City. He is an Army Reservist and a veteran of overseas tours in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iraq. He was awarded the Combat Action Badge, Bronze Star Medal, and Purple Heart Award. He is also a life member of VFW Post 4055.
