Drawing on more than 13 years experience in public service, Terry Edwards was elected to the Platte County Public Administrator post in 2005. This position is her first in an elected capacity.

Edwards garnered her expertise in the Clay County Administrator’s Office as deputy and chief deputy before seeking public office in Platte County. She worked in the health care field in various capacities for 23 years, but primarily in administration and case management.

Her background in the health care industry required familiarity with directing mental and medical health care and accessing financial entitlements.
