Description of Duties: The Platte County Board of Appeals meets to hear disputes concerning building code issues. This board consists of five regular members with two alternates. The Platte County Board of Appeal members are required to have a background in building trades and be familiar with building codes. The Platte County Board of Appeals meets as needed. All meetings of the Platte County Board of Appeals are open to the public and agendas are posted on the County website.
