Platte County Parks and Recreation is looking for a retired professional or a veteran looking to stay active while earning some extra income while giving back to the community.  We are looking for individuals who have a knack for mechanical work and enjoy working outdoors

Requirements

• Maintain and repair park facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist with landscaping, grounds keeping, and general upkeep of park areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure all areas are safe and clean.

Certificate Needed

• Retired or veteran status preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills and experience in maintenance or repair work.
• Ability to work occasional weekends and flexible hours as needed.
• Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking.
• Passion for maintaining and improving community spaces.
