The Real Estate Data Collector assists Real Estate Appraisers in collecting data on all structures in Platte County, Missouri. Willing to train a person demonstrating the necessary aptitude for data collection.




Requirements

DATA COLLECTOR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

· Conducts real estate field inspections to measure and gather information regarding size, type, and quality of materials used in building construction.

· Enters data on new property, existing structures, fieldwork changes, and other parcel updates into the computer assisted mass appraisal (CAMA) system.

· Enter data and sketch structures on property cards

· Works closely with property owners, builders, developers and in house appraisers

· Greets and assist citizens in person or over the phone

· Perform related work as required


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

· Good knowledge of standard office practices, record keeping, office equipment and computer software

· A combination of general real estate and construction knowledge

· Must have a working knowledge of MS Excel


Minimum Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED

· Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of MS Word

· Solid written and oral communication skills

· Excellent customer service & teamwork skills

· Valid driver’s license with good driving record

· Ability to perform mathematical functions

· Pass background check
