Proof of Residency
If you are a new or returning resident from another state, you need to provide proof of residency in another state in order to receive a tax waiver. The following items may be used as proof of residency:
- Out-of-state driver's license that was issued in January of previous year or prior.
- Bank statement from January of the previous year.
- Utility bill receipt from January of the previous year.
- Insurance card that covers the date of January 1 of the previous year.
- Paycheck stub from January of the previous year.
- Rental/lease agreement covering January of the previous year.
Documents that will not be accepted: W-2, 1099, income statement, or any tax return papers.
- There is no fee for a tax waiver.
